Frequently Asked Questions

Hey there!

As I shoot a variety of genres, my price varies depending on what your particular shoot requires. Please contact me for a price.

I will give 110% to each and every shoot I have the opportunity of capturing, right from preparation, shooting, editing and delivering of the final product. As you may have guessed, I am passionate about capturing
the connection between families, but I am equally as passionate about capturing and sharing the connection those who live in the outback have with the land and our lifestyle. I love where I live!

If you are thinking of booking a family session, I do require a booking fee to hold your date and time. Booking fees start at $150. All sessions receive a $70 print or product voucher once locked in. Please contact me for more details. Gift vouchers are also available.

Where are you based?

My home is a merino sheep and cattle property in Central West Queensland, 89km south west of Blackall.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! In fact, I love travelling! I love to check out new destinations and meeting new people. Travelling to your property to capture your family in their element and comfort zone is a perfect day for me. I may have to charge some travel though, so I will be sure to let you know what this is prior to the shoot. If you live beyond 2 hours of Blackall, I will endeavour to coordinate a number of shoots in your area so the travel may be shared.

Do you have insurance?

I sure do. I have Public Liability Insurance for shoots and all of my gear is also covered.

What can I expect during a family shoot?

My aim is to capture you and your family just being themselves. I love to capture the connection and real moments between family members. I will always be looking for those in-between moments that you probably will not even remember happening until you see your images. What to wear?

Select clothes that are of the same tone. Earthy tones with a splash of colour work really well with our outback colours. I suggest Mum chooses her clothes first and work the rest of the family around. Try to avoid having clashing patterns and preferably no T-shirts with logos. Just use what you have and feel free to flick me a pic of your choice if you are not sure. Mostly, I want everyone to be comfortable and themselves.

Do you do prints and albums?

Yes, I do. I love it when my families order framed prints, canvases or an album of their photos. Memories are created to be shared and enjoyed and to be able to look at a print of your family hanging on the wall, or on your coffee table every day and not to be stored in the depths of a computer, is something I try to encourage all families to do.
